Giveaways, Fireworks on Tap for Aces' Eight-Game Homestand

RENO, Nev. - The first-place Reno Aces return home Wednesday for an eight-game homestand against the Memphis Redbirds and Nashville Sounds, featuring Military Night presented by Bank of America, giveaways and fireworks, culminating in the popular Dinner on the Diamond after the series finale on Wednesday, August 10.
The series opens at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday with another 2-for-$22 promotion, where fans can get two outfield reserved tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $22.
Thursday's 7:05 p.m. game is another Coors Light Thirsty Thursday⢠presented by Lotus Radio and Reno News & Review, with $2 Coors and Coors Light Drafts until the fifth inning. Also, fans can purchase a special $12 ticket, which includes admission to the game, an Aces mug and one free fill-up of Coors or Coors Light.
Friday marks the return of Saint Mary's Fireworks Friday presented by KRNV News 4, with fireworks immediately following the game. Friday is also Military Night presented by Bank of America, with military static displays outside of Aces Ballpark from 5-7 p.m. The Aces will be wearing special military-themed hats that will be sold online, with bidding on these limited-edition hats beginning Friday and ending Sunday evening. Proceeds will benefit our men and women in uniform.
The homestand continues Saturday with an Aces Ballpark replica giveaway, with 2,500 fans receiving a miniature version of downtown Reno's crown jewel, presented by KOLO 8.
Saturday is also the Children's Cabinet Back-To-School drive to benefit local underprivileged children. Fans are encouraged to bring school supplies to donate, which will go directly to the Children's Cabinet School of Life, a local school that gives less fortunate children a chance to earn their diploma or GED.
In addition, Saturday is Girls Night Out, where special $28 tickets are available. The Girls Night Out ticket package includes an Infield Premium or Sports Bar ticket, a wine glass and a pre-game meet-and-greet with Aces players. Fans can purchase tickets by logging on to RenoAces.com and using the promo code "girls."
The Aces welcome the Nashville Sounds to Reno beginning Sunday night, for a special 6:05 p.m. game. Sunday is a Renown Children's Hospital Family Funday, with baseball bingo making another appearance at Aces Ballpark. Also on Sunday, 1,500 fans will receive a Reno Aces mini helmet, courtesy of Tamarack Junction.
In addition, Sunday is Archie's Island/Discovery Night at the Aces, Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells will be on hand to teach fans more about Reno's brand new Discovery Museum. Fans can purchase a $10 general admission ticket or $15 outfield reserved ticket and get a free Discovery Museum t-shirt, by ordering online and using the promo code "discovery."
After Monday and Tuesday's 7:05 p.m. contests, the homestand concludes with a 1:05 p.m. matinee on Wednesday, August 10. It is another 2-for-$22 Wednesday, on which fans can get a pair of tickets, hot dogs and sodas for just $22.
After Wednesday's game, the popular Dinner on the Diamond returns, where fans can eat dinner on the Aces Ballpark infield for the first time in the event's history. Aces players and coaches - including manager Brett Butler - will serve as waiters, with proceeds from the dinner to benefit the Reno Aces foundation.
Aces playoff tickets will go on-sale August 8, while tickets for regular season home games are available today at RenoAces.com, the Aces Ballpark box office or by phone at (775) 334-7000. Discounted group tickets for your next event are also available.
