Anaheim Assigns Kyle Palmieri to Crunch; Recalls Brandon McMillan and Dan Sexton

Syracuse, NY (November 20, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have assigned right wing Kyle Palmieri to the Crunch. In addition, the Ducks have recalled left wing Brandon McMillan and right wing Dan Sexton from Syracuse.

Palmieri, 19, has appeared in nine games with the Crunch this season, recording nine points (7g, 2a). In addition, he has skated in 10 games with Anaheim this year and scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game on November 3 vs. Tampa Bay. A native of Smithtown, New York, Palmieri was selected by Anaheim in the first round, 26th overall, in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

McMillan, 20, has appeared in all 16 games for the Crunch this season, recording six points (4g, 2a) and 10 penalty minutes. In addition, he appeared in 55 games with Kelowna (WHL) last season, tallying 67 points (25g, 42a) and 63 penalty minutes to go along with a plus-11 rating. A native of Richmond, British Columbia, McMillan was selected by Anaheim in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Sexton, 23, has appeared in four games with the Crunch this season, collecting five points (2g, 3a) and two penalty minutes. In addition, he has skated in seven games with Anaheim this year, collecting two penalty minutes. A native of Apple Valley, Minnesota, Sexton was signed by Anaheim as a free agent on April 7, 2009.

The Crunch's next game is on Saturday, November 20 vs. Springfield at 7:30 p.m. at The Oncenter War Memorial Arena. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
