Rissmiller Sent to Lake Erie

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned left wing PATRICK RISSMILLER from the Chicago Wolves to the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL).

RISSMILLER has skated in six outings with the Wolves this season, notching one goal and six penalty minutes. Last season, he ranked third on the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) with 20 goals and second with 47 points in 69 outings.

The 32-year-old forward has accrued 99 goals, 184 assists and 283 points in 423 career American Hockey League outings with the Cleveland Barons, Hartford Wolf Pack, Griffins and Wolves.

The Belmont, Mass., native also has amassed 18 goals, 27 assists and 45 points in 182 career National Hockey League games with the New York Rangers and San Jose Sharks over parts of five seasons (2003-04; 2005-09).
