Rampage move into first with 2-1 win over Peoria

SAN ANTONIO - Enver Lisin scored the game-winning goal midway into the third period to lift the San Antonio Rampage to a 2-1 victory over the Peoria Rivermen Friday night in front of a 4,156 AT&T Center crowd. The Rampage move into a tie for first in the West Division after Josh Tordjman stopped 32 of 33 shots in his second consecutive start.
After a scoreless first period, Cam Paddock's second goal of the season gave the Rampage the lead at 12:26 in the second frame off David Spina's initial shot.
Peoria's Michal Birner punched in his first goal of the season to even the game at one early in the third period.
Lisin, who tallied two assists in the Rampage's season-opener last Saturday, received defenseman Brendan Bell's centering pass from behind the goal line at the 8:03 mark.
Left wing Matt Murley and defenseman Travis Roche each continued their scoring streaks with their assists of the night.
The Rampage will face AHL newcomer Rockford IceHogs Tuesday at the AT&T center at 7 p.m.
