HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League today announced goaltender Miroslav Kopriva has been assigned to the Central Hockey League's Austin Ice Bats. Kopriva split time between the Aeros and ECHL Texas last season. He has played in 25 games for Houston compiling a 9-10-2 record. The 24-year old played with the Ice Bats in the 2005-06 season and had a 12-3 record with a 2.33 gaa in 15 games.
The Aeros (0-1-0-0) will play their second game of the season on Friday night against the Iowa Stars, and will be back at the Toyota Center on Saturday, October 13 against the Peoria Rivermen.
