HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill.---Left wing Tomas Pospisil netted two goals, but the Chicago Wolves surrendered a three-goal lead on the way to a 6-3 preseason loss to the Lake Erie Monsters at the Hoffman Estates Park District Community Center and Ice Arena on Friday night.

Center Lou Dickenson also lit the lamp for Chicago (0-2-0-0), which opened up a 3-0 lead midway though contest before giving up six unanswered markers. Lake Erie cracked the scoreboard and tied the game with three late second-period goals then piled on three more markers to grab the victory.

With Chicago leading 3-0, right wing David Jones opened the scoring for the Monsters with a man-advantage marker at the 12:57 mark to close the gap to 3-1 before former Wolves left wing Eric Healey posted a power-play tally of his own at 14:52 to make it 3-2.
