P-Bruins Fall to Sound Tigers 2-0

Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins fell to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers 2-0 Friday evening at The Rinks at Shelton. The P-Bruins wrap up their pre-season schedule Saturday versus the Worcester Sharks at the New England Sports Complex in Marlborough, Massachusetts at 7:00 p.m.

After scoreless first and second periods, the Sound Tigers scored at the 5:01 mark of the third period. Trevor Smith tallied the goal, while Keith Johnson and Dustin Kohn recorded the assists. Bridgeport added an insurance goal at the 12:55 mark, while on the power play. Johnson scored for a multi-point night and Jamie Fraser had the lone assist.

Jordan Sigalet played in net for the P-Bruins stopping 23 of 25 shots, while Maxime Ouellet and Michael Mole split time for the Sound Tigers. The P-Bruins were 0-for-6 on the power play and 5-of-6 on the penalty kill.
