Rivermen Second Pre-season Game Tonight

Peoria Rivermen News Release
The Peoria Rivermen close out the second half of its home pre-season schedule as they host new West Division rival the Rockford IceHogs at 7 pm at the Peoria Civic Center.
Tonight's game marks the second of the pre-season for the Rivermen, who dropped a 4-2 decision to the Quad City Flames at home Wednesday night. Rockford has yet to play a game this season as the new AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks, making the jump from the United Hockey League. The two teams will play again tomorrow night in Rockford at 7 pm.
Fans may get their first look at Rivermen players such as Trent Whitfield, Marek Schwarz, and Charles Linglet. Tickets are on sale at the PCC Box Office at $10 for Lower Bowl seats and $8 for Upper Bowl seats. Season ticket holders get in free but you must pick up your season ticket package before the game tonight!
Peoria opens the regular season next Saturday night, October 6 against the Milwaukee Admirals. Game time is 7 pm, and tickets are on sale now through all TicketMaster locations, on line at www.TicketMaster.com, or at the Peoria Civic Center Box Office.
