Griffins Add to Sales and Marketing Staff

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Friday announced the hiring of Amanda Parrish as a corporate sales account executive and Nicole Rodammer as community relations/marketing coordinator.
Parrish brings more than five years of sales and marketing experience to the Griffins. The Whitehall, Mich., native recently served as the director of sales for WeRGR.com, after working in the marketing department at Blue Heron Academy. In her new role, Parrish will be responsible for the selling and managing of Griffins corporate sponsor accounts.
Having served in the Griffins' community relations department as both an intern and coordinator during the last three seasons, Rodammer returns to the rink after a short stint in Detroit, where she worked in marketing for Comcast and event planning for Setting the Scene.
Rodammer, a native of Rockford, Mich., earned a public relations degree from Grand Valley State University in 2005. She will be responsible for planning and implementing many of the team's community appearances, as well as assisting in corporate sales and marketing efforts.
