Stampede Players Report To Camp Today

Stampede players officially reported for the start of training camp today in Sioux Falls. The players will spend the afternoon at the brand-new Avera Sports Institute on West 44th Place (behind Shopko). The players are participating in several off-ice testing drills, including the region's only hockey treadmill and other sports training and enhancement programs.
The Stampede will officially being practice Tuesday, September 18 at 2 PM at the Sioux Falls Ice and Rec Center. The Herd will begin training camp with 25 players, but must trim their roster to 23 at the end of the USHL Fall Classic on September 29th.
Sioux Falls will play a total of four pre-season games, starting this Saturday, September 22nd at Sioux City. Tickets for that game are $6 general admission and can be purchased through the Musketeers ticket office. The Herd will then participate in the Fall Classic (formerly the Buc Bowl) the following weekend in Sioux City before opening the regular season at home on Saturday, October 6th.
