Trenton Thunder News Release
(Manchester, NH)- Cody Ehlers had three hits and four RBI, while Noah Hall added three hits and a pair of RBI, to lead the Thunder an 8-6 win over New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon. New Hampshire took the lead back with three runs off Trenton starter Tyler Clippard in the 6th Inning. A solo homer from LF Dustin majewski made it a 4-3 game with a two-run homer from 1B Rob Cosby giving New Hampshire the lead at 5-4. Clippard (2-1) ended up with the win allowing five runs in six innings.
Ehlers led another Thunder rally with a two-run double off reliever Brandon League in the 7th Inning for a 6-5 Trenton lead. The Thunder then added an RBI double from Reegie Corona and a run-scoring single by Hall in the 8th Inning for an 8-5 lead. New Hampshire closed to within 8-6 in the 8th Inning, but Justin Pope worked a scoreless 9th Inning for the save, his sixth of the season.
