JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Only two games remain in the Jacksonville Suns season as the team hosts the Montgomery Biscuits on Sunday and Monday to close out the 2007 campaign.
On Sunday, The Famous San Diego Chicken makes his return to the Baseball Grounds, sponsored by CBS47 and The New 99.1 WQIK. Enjoy "Poultry in Motion" with a special holiday weekend gametime of 7:05pm. All fans in attendance will receive a free 2007 Suns team photo, courtesy of Coke Zero. Also Sunday, the first 500 fans to pledge to wear their safety belt every trip, every time, day and night, will receive a free Suns t-shirt, courtesy of the Florida Department of Transportation Safety Office.
The regular season ends on Labor Day Monday with the Suns' annual Fan Appreciation Day, sponsored by WJXT TV-4 and Rock 105. The Suns will take Monday to thank the over 350,000 fans who enjoyed the 2007 season with thousands of dollars in prizes, including Jaguars tickets, Southwest Airlines tickets, free golf and many other valuable prizes. Every program purchased on Monday is a guaranteed winner!
