OF Nathan Panther Promoted to Bisons

Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons today announced that OF Nathan Panther has been promoted to the team from Double-A Akron.
Panther, 26, has spent most of the 2007 season with the Single-A Kinston Indians. With the K-Tribe, the outfielder hit .287 (60-209) with 13 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs and 28RBI in 67 games. He was promoted to Akron on July 29 and averaged .164 (9-55) with one home run and four RBI in 16 games with the Aeros.
Panther was the Indians' 15th round draft pick in the June, 2002 Draft. He hit a combined .228 (68-298) with three home runs and 33RBI in 91 games with Akron and Kinston in 2006. He also played under manager Torey Lovullo with the Aeros in 2005 and was named the Eastern League Post-Season MVP for the EL Champion Aeros.
