Zephyrs Playoff Tickets Currently On Sale

August 30, 2007 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release

Metairie, LA - The New Orleans Zephyrs are currently taking orders for tickets to playoff games at Zephyr Field, should the Zephyrs win the American South Division of the Pacific Coast League and make the playoffs for the first time since 2001.

In order to obtain tickets, which will be held at normal regular season prices, fans can come to the Zephyrs ticket office at Zephyr Field, call the Zephyrs at (504) 734-5155 or purchase them online at www.zephyrsbaseball.com via Ticketmaster.

If the Zephyrs make the playoffs they will host games at Zephyr in the first round against the Nashville Sounds on Wednesday September 5th at 7:00 PM and Thursday September 6th at 1:00 PM. The team then travels to Nashville for the final three games of the best-of-five series.

Should the Zephyrs win the first round, they would then play the winner of the Pacific Conference for the PCL Championship in a best-of-five series. The first two games of that series would also be played at Zephyr Field on Tuesday, September 11 and Wednesday, September 12.

The Pacific Coast League Champion would then travel to Oklahoma City to take on the winner of the International League in the one-game Bricktown Showdown on Tuesday, September 18.

The Zephyrs are currently tied with the Albuquerque Isotopes for the division lead, and will take on the Oklahoma RedHawks tonight in the final game of that four-game series in Oklahoma City. They will then travel to Round Rock, Texas to take on the Round Rock Express in a four-game series that would complete the regular season.

If the Zephyrs do not make the playoffs, fans that have already purchased tickets may apply the playoff ticket money toward 2008 season ticket packages, or if requested can receive a refund.
