Rochester Fire Dance Team Member To Compete For Title Miss Minnesota

Rochester, NY. The ABA Rochester Fire announced that a member of their Heat Dance Team, Courtney Rishavy, will be competing for the title of Miss Minnesota-USA. Courtney is a 19-year old Rochester native. When asked about why she decided to compete for Miss Minnesota-USA, Courtney stated, "I competed in two pageants when I was younger. I always watch the Miss USA pageant on television, and I have always dreamed of what it would be like to be crowned Miss USA." This will be Courtney's second year competing in the Miss Minnesota-USA pageant. She first competed in the 2006 Miss Minnesota-USA pageant and won the best interview category. The 2007 pageant will be held November 24th and 25th at the Bloomington Sheraton Hotel.
The Fire organization is proudly sponsoring Courtney in the pageant. "Courtney has a great energetic personality," said Director of Basketball Operations, Quentin Berner. "We are proud of her and wish her the best of luck in the competition."
