July 30, 2007 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Charleston RiverDogs News Release

Heavy rain in the Lowcountry postponed the Charleston RiverDogs - Hickory Crawdads South Atlantic League baseball game scheduled for Monday night. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Tuesday, beginning at 5:05 p.m. There will be two seven-inning games.

Charleston entered Monday in second place in the SAL's Southern Division second-half standings, one game behind Asheville. Hickory comes to Riley Park in first place in the Northern Division second-half standings.

Charleston will send righty Ivan Nova (5-4, 3.68 ERA) to the hill for the first game, while Hickory is expected to go with righty Mike Crotta (6-5, 4.73 ERA). The second-game matchup has RiverDogs right-hander Eric Hacker (7-2, 2.83 ERA) toeing the hill against Crawdads' righty Matt McSwain (1-0, 5.48 ERA)

Broadcast coverage of the twin bill will begin on the Internet only at 5 pm thanks to All In Broadcasting, then be joined in progress on ESPN Radio 910 The Team at 7 pm.

Fans with tickets for Monday's contest may exchange them for any future 2007 RiverDogs home game, based on availability. For more information call the RiverDogs at (843) 577-DOGS or stop by the Riley Park box office.
