(Lancaster, CA)- As part of its tribute to the windy conditions that are prevalent in the Antelope Valley, the Lancaster JetHawks will discount Reserved Section tickets for all Tuesday home games during the 2007 regular season, based on the wind recording the day before each Tuesday home game.
The wind gust recording at Clear Channel Stadium this afternoon was 15 MPH, meaning Reserved Section tickets will cost only $1.50 for tomorrow's game against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. Tickets are priced at 10-cents for each MPH of wind recorded.
The JetHawks begin a three-game homestand against the division rival Quakes tomorrow night. The homestand will feature Weenie Wednesday $1 hot dogs on Wednesday and Cheers Buck Beers $1 draight beer until the sixth inning on Thursday.
