Russ Ortiz Tentatively Scheduled To Rehab with the San Jose Giants

SAN JOSE, CALIF July 25, 2007 -San Francisco Giants RHP Russ Ortiz is tentatively scheduled to make a rehab start with the San Jose Giants this Saturday, July 28th. Ortiz, who will likely pitch four to five innings, was a San Jose Giant in 1996. Russ Ortiz was 2-2 with a 5.40 ERA with the San Francisco Giants when he was placed on the Disabled List on June 7th. The Giants host Lake Elsinore on Saturday with first pitch at Municipal Stadium scheduled for 5:00 P.M.
