Knights Return Home Before All-Star Break

FORT MILL, S.C. - July 3, 2007 - The Charlotte Knights return from a road trip on Wednesday, July 4 at 7:15 p.m. to begin a 5-game home stand at Knights Stadium. The Knights will play host to their division rival Durham Bulls for one game, highlighted by the "SkyShow Fireworks Spectacular" presented by the Charlotte Knights along with Bank of America, The Charlotte Observer, Time Warner Cable, News Talk 1110-WBT and Jeep on July 4.
For the second consecutive year, Knights Stadium will host the area's greatest and most respected Fourth of July fireworks display. The SkyShow tailgate party begins at 5 p.m., fireworks will begin shortly after the conclusion of the game.
On Thursday, July 5 at 7:15 the Knights begin a four-game series with the Columbus Clippers. The Knights summer long Thirsty Thursday, presented by Hooters, continues featuring $2 beers and $1 sodas.
Friday, July 6 is Sweet Home Chicago Night and the first 1,000 fans will receive a White Sox logo ball and one lucky fan will win a White Sox Fan Trip package. The package includes free round trip tickets and hotel accommodations to Chicago to see the White Sox play, as well as a Citypass.com package. Fans who wear their favorite Chicago-related apparel receive $2 off their ticket price.
On July 7, country singer Bucky Covington, a former contestant on American Idol, will perform in a post-game concert that also features fireworks presented by Bank of America. Fireworks will commence after the last out with then followed by the concert.
