Blue Rocks Begin Six-Game Homestand On Wednesday

Wilmington, DE - Summer is underway and so is the second half of the Wilmington Blue Rocks 15th anniversary season. Following a brief three-game trip to Winston-Salem, the Blue Crew returns to Frawley Stadium for six games in six days beginning Wednesday, June 27. The homestand begins with a three-game set against Carolina League Northern Division foes, the Lynchburg Hillcats, followed by three against the Salem Avalanche.
Don't miss all the affordable family fun forthcoming at Frawley. From post-game fireworks to Mr. Celery Beanie Dolls, there are plenty of reasons to get excited about Wilmington Blue Rocks baseball.
Here's a look at the promotions for the upcoming homestand:
Wednesday, June 27, 7:05 p.m. - The Blue Rocks and Lynchburg Hillcats open a three-game series. The World's Hottest Entertainment Act, the ZOOperstars, will be appearing throughout the game, while, post-game, Viwinco will present their infamous fireworks extravaganza.
Thursday, June 28, 7:05 p.m. - It's the middle game of the three-game set versus Lynchburg. Don't miss the Blue Rocks player autograph session on the main concourse from 6:00-6:30 p.m.
Friday, June 29, 7:05 p.m. - The Rocks and Cats wrap up their series, as the first 1,000 fans will receive a Mr. Celery Beanie Doll, compliments of Delaware Online.
Saturday, June 30, 6:05 p.m. - The Salem Avalanche invade for the first of three at Frawley. The first 1,000 fans at the series opener will receive a Blue Rocks fleece blanket, courtesy of Bank of America. Plus, bring your pooch to the park, as Concord Pet Food and Supplies sponsors The Dog Days of Summer, featuring an appearance by the amazing Skyy Dog! And, after the game, witness the Pacifico Ford Liberty Strongman Classic.
Sunday, July 1, 1:35 p.m. - Swing into July, as the series versus Salem continues with a Sunday matinee. Be one of the first 1,000 fans to the park and receive an adult XL t-shirt, compliments of Verizon.
Monday, July 2, 7:05 p.m. - The homestand wraps up, as the Blue Rocks and Avalanche play their series finale. The Purple Party Dude, Reggy, will be in the house, entertaining fans with his wild antics. And, stick around after the game, as Bank of America presents a fireworks spectacular!
