WINNIPEG, MB - The following is a list of happenings from Day 11 of Winnipeg Blue Bombers Training Camp 2007:
NEW ARRIVALS: None.
DEPARTURES: OL Jermese Jones (trade).
INJURIES: DB Greg Bearman (groin, day-to-day); OL Alexandre Gauthier (hamstring, day-to-day); CB Robert Bean (shoulder, day-to-day); OL Matt O'Meara (upper body, day-to-day); LB Toney Edison (hamstring, day-to-day); OC Obby Khan (illness, day-to-day).
TEAM NEWS: The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced today that offensive lineman Jermese Jones (6-6, 336, Virginia '01, DOB: Dec. 11, 1978 in Durham, NC) has been traded to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft.
The Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats will hook-up tomorrow in the first pre-season game of 2007 for both teams. Game time at Canad Inns Stadium is 7 p.m. The game will also be broadcast on CJOB 680 AM.
The Bombers will return to the practice field on Saturday, June 16 at 8 a.m. and again at 10:40 a.m.
