WANNA BE A TV STAR? - The Hooks' June 21 contest against Frisco will be the first of three Corpus Christi games televised live by FSN Southwest.
DAD'S DAY AT THE BALLPARK - It doesn't get much better than Father's Day at Whataburger Field. Join us this Sunday for the Hooks' 6:05 match-up with San Antonio as fathers and kids have a post-game catch in the outfield. The first 1,500 children 12/under receive Hooks Kids Baseball Gloves, courtesy of Sanders Morris Harris.
MARTINEZ HONORED - Hooks hurler Ronnie Martinez has been named Texas League Pitcher of the Week for June 5-10. Martinez threw a complete-game shutout Saturday night in a 5-0 victory over San Antonio. The right-hander held the Missions to two hits, striking out nine.

ALL-STAR FEATURE - Noochie Varner, one of five Hooks named to the 2007 Texas League All-Star Team, is the subject of this week's website feature.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW? - This week our Texas League All-Star spotlight centers on Morgan Ensberg. The former USC Trojan hit .300 with 28 homers and 90 RBI's for Baseball America's 2000 Minor League Team of the Year, the Round Rock Express. Ensberg went 1-for-3 with a run scored and RBI as the Texas League All-Stars hammered the Mexican League's finest 12-2 at El Paso's Cohen Stadium.
Ensberg, now in his fifth full season with the Astros, had a career year in 2005. He batted .283 with 36 homers and 101 RBI's en route to the National League Pennant and an All-Star selection.
