Power has the Wright Stuff in win over 'Dads

Hickory Crawdads News Release
Hickory, NC-Mike Crotta allowed only 2 ER in 7 IP. But, Brae Wright gave up just 1 run in 8 innings, as the Crawdads lost to the West Virginia Power 2-1, Monday at L.P. Frans Stadium.
The Power scored both of their runs in the 2nd. With two outs, John Alonso and Taylor Green collected back-to-back RBI singles, making it 2-0 Power.
Hickory scored its lone run in the 6th. Kent Sakamoto led off the inning with a double. Jim Negrych drove in Sakamoto with a single grounded into right. That cut the deficit to 2-1.
Kyle Pearson came in and worked 2 perfect innings during the 8th and 9th, striking out 4 batters during that span.
Omar Aguilar replaced Wright after the 8th. With 1-out, Alex Presley singled. But, Aguilar set down the next two batters, Ambrose and Jose De Los Santos, to earn his 5th save.
Wright (5-3) picked up the win. Crotta (2-5) was charged with the loss.
The Crawdads continue their 3-game series tomorrow night at 7:00 at L.P. Frans Stadium against the West Virginia Power. RHP Dionis Rodriguez is scheduled to start for Hickory.
