'Topes-Redhawks Postponed Due to Rain

With a steady rain pelting Isotopes Park throughout the day, the Albuquerque Isotopes and Oklahoma RedHawks series opener was postponed Monday night. The game will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 13, at 5:05 PM.

The Isotopes Park Rain Check Policy will be in effect for Monday's game. Any ticket from the postponed game may be exchanged at the Isotopes Park Box Office for any 2007 regular season game, excluding July 2 and July 3.

In addition, Monday's 50-Cent Hot Dog Night promotion has been rescheduled for Monday, August 6 when the Isotopes take on the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 PM.

The Isotopes and RedHawks will play one regularly scheduled game on Tuesday night at 7:05 PM, then make up Monday's game with a doubleheader on Wednesday. For the June 13 doubleheader, the two teams will play a pair of seven-inning contests. Gates will open at 4 PM with a 5:05 PM first pitch. Following the completion of the first game, there will be a 30 minute break. Then, the second game will begin and will last seven innings.

In tomorrow's series opener, southpaw Chris George (3-5, 5.08) gets the nod for Albuquerque. He'll face-off with Oklahoma lefty John Rheinecker (0-0, 0.00). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
