FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution and Kansas City Wizards will play the first of their three matches this season at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, May 26, at Gillette Stadium. The MLS contest will be the second game of a special soccer event doubleheader, which will also feature an international friendly between the Republic of Ireland and Bolivia at 4 p.m.
New England (5-1-2, 17 pts.) enters its four-game home stand with the league's best record (tied with New York) and most prolific attack (15 goals scored, also tied with New York). So far this season, the Revs are 2-0-0 at home - having out-scored their opponents 7-1 on their home pitch - after playing six of their first eight games on the road. Kansas City (4-2-1, 13 pts.) enters the game third in the Eastern Conference.
New England also enters Saturday's match riding a seven-game undefeated streak, and will look to extend its current nine-game undefeated streak at home at Gillette Stadium.
