Admirals Sign Laliberte to AHL Deal

Milwaukee, WI- The Milwaukee Admirals announced today that the team has signed forward John Laliberte to an American Hockey League contract and they have reassigned forward Preston Mizzi to the Rockford IceHogs of the United Hockey League.

Laliberte, who was previously on a try-out contract with Milwaukee, has three assists and two penalty minutes in eight games for the Admirals this season. The Saco, ME native played in nine games with the Worcester Sharks earlier this year, recording a point and a pair of PIMs.

Mizzi picked up two assists and two penalty minutes in seven games for Milwaukee. The Sault Ste. Marie, ONT native has 51 points (22g-29a) in 41 games for Rockford this year.

The Admirals are back in action this Friday night when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center. In addition to the game, Grammy awarding winning rock band REO Speedwagon will perform in a post-game concert.
