Iowa Stars Announce TV Show Dates and Times

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Stars President John Pettit, in conjunction with Mediacom, announced today the schedule for the most recent edition of the Iowa Stars television show, Iowa Stars Extra.
The Stars current version of Iowa Stars Extra will begin airing on Mediacom on Tuesday, February 27th. Tuesday's broadcast time is scheduled for 8:00 PM. The show will also air on Wednesday, February 28th at 7:30 PM and Thursday, March 1st at 10:00 AM and 9:30 PM.
This show will include in-studio guests: Forward Janos Vas and Iowa Stars Assistant Coach Paul Jerrard. The most recent edition of Captain's Corner with Iowa Stars Captain Marty Wilford has Francis Wathier and Greg Rallo on the-hot-seat. Iowa Stars Extra also catches up with former Iowa player and current Dallas Stars Forward Joel Lundqvist.
The Connections Channel is Mediacom's statewide network that provides Iowans with coverage of state and local sports and community events. It is located at channel 22 for most areas of the state. Check local listing for your community's Mediacom Connections Channel (Ch. 74 in Iowa City; Ch. 18 in Northwest Iowa).
IOWA STARS INFO: The Stars play in San Antonio against the Rampage again on Tuesday night. Iowa then returns home for two games: Thursday, March 1st against the Peoria Rivermen and Saturday, March 3rd against the San Antonio Rampage. The Hobey Baker Award, awarded annually to College Hockey's Top Player, will be on hand Thursday night. The Stars currently boast two former Hobey Baker Award Winners: Junior Lessard (2004) and Marty Sertich (2005). Thursday is also a 4 for $40 Night. Purchase four $21 tickets for just $40. Saturday night is Krys Barch Bobblehead Night. The first 3,500 fans will receive a bobblehead of Iowa Stars/current Dallas Stars Forward Krys Barch. It is also Boy Scout Night.
