PERFORMER OF THE WEEK: Fort Worth guard Jose Barea of the Fort Worth Flyers has been named the D-LEAGUE.com Performer of the Week for games played Jan. 21-28. On assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, Barea topped 40 points in two different games last week while leading the Flyers to a 3-1 record. He turned in the top scoring performance of the D-League season so far with 43 points on 18-of-24 shooting in a loss to Idaho on Jan. 25. Barea's averages for the week were 31.5 points, 7.5 assists and 6.0 rebounds in four games. He shot .549 (45-of-82) from the field.

UPSWING: The Idaho Stampede has won 12 of its last 13 games. The Colorado 14ers have won 10 of the last 13 and the Austin Toros have won 9 of 13.

DOWNSWING: Arkansas has lost a league record 15 straight games, while the Bakersfield Jam has dropped 10 of 12 and the Albuquerque Thunderbirds have won just 4 of the last 18.

ALL-STAR VOTING: Balloting for the D-League All-Star Game continues through Thursday (Feb. 1) at D-LEAGUE.com. The teams will be chosen from a combination of fan and D-League coaches voting.

ANNOUNCING THE COACHES: The coaching and athletic training staffs for the Eastern and Western Division All-Star Teams will be announced Thursday (Feb. 1).

ANNOUNCING THE ALL-STARS: Ten (10) players for both the Eastern and Western Division All-Star Teams will be announced on Feb. 6.

WHEN AND WHERE: The inaugural D-League All-Star Game will be played Feb. 17 on Center Court at NBA All-Star Jam Session at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Tip off is scheduled for 2 p.m. PT and the game will air live on NBA TV.
