Kebs de Laval News Release

Quebec, Canada. Doug Stuwe, President, JDS Sports Management and Pascal Jobin, Head Coach of the ABA Quebec Kebekwa, are pleased to announce the signing of Paul Larmand to the team for the balance of the season. Paul, a 6-5 power forward with a great shooting touch, is tenacious on defense and a solid rebounder.

He has just returned to Canada from Australia where he has played professionally for two years. Prior to that, he played with the Carleton University Ravens. While in Australia, he led his team to a first place finish in the league and was 2nd in the voting for league MVP. While in Australia, Larmand gained the respect of the Ballarat organization and upon his departure, Luke Dunne, CEO of the Ballarat Miners said, "Larmand leaves with the club's highest recommendation as a player and person." Association President Peter Eddy said, "Larmand has been an outstanding role model, person and player and it is sad to see him leave."

Following his signing, Larmand added, "I look forward to playing in the ABA and pursuing a divisional and national title with my new Quebec Kebekwa teammates. I respect Coach Jobin and look forward to playing. I will do everything in my power to help bring the title to Quebec." Paul will join the team for its Dec 30 game versus Buffalo.
