SALT LAKE CITY (Thursday, November 30th, 2006) Real Salt Lake is kicking off the holiday season in style, by offering fans a special "Holiday Merchandise Sale" beginning Monday, December 4th. RSL fans can come to the Real Salt Lake front office, located at 515 South and 700 East, Suite 2R, to receive 40 % off all RSL merchandise.

In conjunction, The Road Home Collection Drive and Tree of Wishes will begin on the same day. Fans willing to donate will receive an additional 10% off all RSL merchandise, bringing the total savings to 50% off the usual price. The Tree of Wishes and the collection bin will be on display at the RSL front office.

The following is a list of items that fans can bring in for the collection drive: new or gently used items such as men's or women's clothing, shoes, hygiene products; children's clothes, shoes or hygiene products. RSL PARTNERS WITH NCJW TO PROVIDE CHRISTMAS DAY FEEDING FOR ELDERLY, HOMELESS: Real Salt Lake is pleased to announce that for the second year in a row, the organization is teaming up with the National Council of Jewish Women to provide a Christmas Day feeding for homeless citizens of Utah. In addition, several meals will be delivered to elderly citizens in and around Salt Lake City by members of RSL and NCJW.

The Christmas Day feeding will take place at the St. Vincent de Paul Center, located adjacent to the Road Home, at 467 East and 200 South.

The event begins at 9:00 a.m., when several people will be dispersed to assisted living facilities to deliver a warm meal to elderly citizens located in several different buildings around the Salt Lake Valley.

The Christmas Day feeding will take place from 11:00 am-1:00 pm, where members of RSL and the NCJW will prepare and serve meals to hundreds of homeless citizens in attendance. In addition, a children's party will be held, where homeless children will have a chance to sit on Santa's lap and receive Christmas presents.

RSL STRIKER JEFF CUNNINGHAM TO APPEAR IN "THE NUTCRACKER": Real Salt Lake Striker Jeff Cunningham will be trading in his soccer jersey and cleats for a tuxedo and dress shoes (temporarily) when he participates in Ballet West's opening night production of The Nutcracker, taking place on Friday, December 8. Cunningham will join the Ballet West dancers as an invited guest during the ballet's Act I Party Scene, mingling with guests and enjoying the entertainment of Herr Drosselmeyer, the magical Doll and Bear, and Clara and her nutcracker-turned-prince.

Ballet West's The Nutcracker will run with evening and matinee performances December 8-30 at the Capitol Theatre. Utah audiences of all ages will be enchanted by the story of a little girl named Clara who receives a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve and is transported to the fabled kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Ballet West Founder William Christensen is the first American to choreograph a full-length version of The Nutcracker. In 1955, this production premiered in Utah, and it has been delighting Utah audiences ever since.

WHAT: Leo the Lion will be joining other motorcyclists for a "Bike Run" to deliver toys and other gifts to children at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. The Ride begins at the Timpanogos Harley-Davidson dealership in Orem at 11:30 a.m. and ends at the medical center in Provo.
