Victoria Salmon Kings News Release

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today the "From the Freezer to the Fridge" promotion for tomorrow night's game versus the Alaska Aces. Single tickets are on sale for only $10* for the 7:05 p.m. match at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

To battle the boredom of the Victoria snowstorm, fans can take advantage of this one-time offer and order tickets for exciting pro hockey through the Select Your Tickets box office at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, by phone at (250) 220-7777, or online at www.selectyourtickets.com.

The Salmon Kings play a three-game series versus the Alaska Aces to battle for third spot in the West Division. Victoria began the 2006-07 season in Anchorage versus the defending Kelly Cup champs and scored first in both games. The Aces ended up on top 2-0 in the series.

The last time the Aces were in town in 2005-06, the Salmon Kings earned three of a possible four points, finishing the series with a 4-3 Shootout win.

Don't forget to bring your teddy bears and support the annual Teddy Bear Toss at the Salmon Kings home game Dec 2 versus the Alaska Aces. All teddy bears tossed on the ice after the Salmon Kings first goal will be donated to the Santa's Anonymous Fund.
