Bombers Make Roster Moves

Dayton Bombers News Release


Dayton, OH- Dayton Bombers Head Coach and General Manager Don MacAdam announced today that forward Trevor Frischmon and defenseman Jekabs Redlihs have been called up by the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League. Forward Brent Walton has also been reassigned to Dayton by Syracuse.

Frischmon, 25, has appeared in all 11 games for the Bombers, recording five points on two goals and three assists. Prior to joining the Bombers, he appeared in 160 career games at Colorado College and scored 66 points (30 G, 36 A). Redlihs, 24, has appeared in seven games for the Bombers this season, recording one assist. He was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the fourth round as the #119 pick overall in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Brent Walton, a native of Elmira, Ontario, returns to the Bombers after dressing in six games for the Crunch. Prior to his call up to Syracuse on November 8, he scored two goals in four games for the Bombers. He completed his collegiate hockey career at Western Michigan University, appearing in 154 career games and recording 155 points (71 G, 84 A).
