Fresno, Calif. - Fresno Falcons fans will have the opportunity to join the Fresno Falcons and the United States Marine Corps. as we collect teddy bears, stuffed animals and toys for the local Toys for Tots campaign. Your Fresno Falcons host the Phoenix Roadrunners this Saturday for the 7th Annual Toys for Tots Teddy Bear Toss at 7:30pm presented by Gottschalks. The first 5000 fans at Saturday's game will also receive a free Falcons team photo courtesy of Dumont Printing All fans are encouraged to bring a brand new Teddy Bear or stuffed animal to the game and when the Falcons score our first goal, toss your bears on to the ice.
Then on Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Ryan MacDonald and Vince Macri will be at the Save Mart Center helping collect Coats for Kids. From 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. J.F. Plourde and Dustin VanBallegooie will be at River Park between Target and World Sports Café and from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Brian McConnell and John Morlang will be at Sierra Vista Mall along with the USMC taking donations for Toys for Tots.
On Tuesday, December 12, 2006 the entire Fresno Falcons Team and Coaching Staff will be attending Christmas at the Craycroft Youth Center. The players will enjoy dinner with the children as well as the opportunity to play games and color with the children.
The Falcons will be hosting the Season Ticket Holder Dinner on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. All Season Ticket Holders are invited to attend. The entire Falcons Team and Coaching Staff will be on hand to meet Season Ticket Holders.
Then on Thursday, December 14, 2006 Matt O'Dette and John Wroblewski will be at Christmas at The Grove located at Hobb's Grove in Sanger. The players will be on hand from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. They will be available for autographs and pictures.
Wrapping up the first two weeks of December the Fresno Falcons will be hosting the Evil Bakersfield Condors on Friday, December 15, 2006. The Falcons will be having a food drive for the Community Food Bank. All fans are encouraged to bring canned food to the game. Immediately following the game the "Save a Family" Holiday Jersey Auction will take place to benefit the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
