Battle for first place is on the line in Everett tonight

Everett Silvertips News Release
Everett, WA - The first place Everett Silvertips will welcome the second place Tri-City Americans to the Everett Events Center for an important early season match- up. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m.
Everett is currently in first place with 15 points and Tri-City is in second place with 14 points. Everett is led in scoring by Zach Hamill. Hamill has 15 points (5 goals, 10 assists) Tri-City is led in scoring by Rookie Erik Felde with 10 points (5 goals, 5 assists)
Tonight will also feature 2 of the top 5 goalies in the WHL. Everett goaltender Leland irving is leading the league in wins, goals against average, save percentage, and shutouts. Irving was drafted in the first round, #26 overall in the 2006 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames.
Tri-City Goaltender Carey Price is currently 6th in the league in goals against average, 3rd in save percentage, and 7th in wins. Price was selected in the first round, #6 overall in the 2005 NHL Draft by the Montreal Canadians.
Tonights match-up also includes two special ticket promotions. Any fan who attend the game in full hockey gear will get in for free. To get in free you must be wearing the following:

Hockey Shin Pads
Hockey Socks
Favorite Hockey Jersey
Gloves are optional
(No Sticks or Skates Allowed)
All fans with their hockey equipment on must enter the main doors on the Hewitt Avenue side of the E.E.C. to get in the game for free. Tonight is also the return of $10.00 Tuesdays. All Red and Orange level seats are discounted to $10.00
