Grey Cup tickets available in special one-day sale

Toronto - To celebrate the return of the Grey Cup to Toronto for the first time in 15 years, Toronto's 2007 Grey Cup Committee will be offering an exclusive 24-hour nationwide general public ticket sale for Grey Cup '07 tickets, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday, October 19, 2006,. All seats not purchased by Argonauts season ticket holders or the CFL prior to this time will be available for sale. Once this sale is over, the tickets will once again go back in the vault and will not be available for purchase to the general public until 2007.

The 95th Grey Cup will be played on Sunday November 25, 2007 at Rogers Centre. The weekend will be "A Celebration of Football" and include games at the amateur, high school and university level as well. Additionally, the prestigious Vanier Cup will be held on Friday, November 25, 2007 at Rogers Centre.

With ticket prices ranging from as low as $79 to a best seat price of $479, Grey Cup '07 is the most affordable marquee sporting event. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster at www.ticketmaster.ca or by calling 1-800-265-5566.

The Grey Cup is Canada's largest professional sporting event. An annual tradition celebrated by Canadians from coast-to-coast since 1909, this unique Canadian championship game has attracted an average television audience of more than 4.1 million viewers over the past four years. In addition to the thousands filling Rogers Centre, the Grey Cup will be watched by millions of fans across Canada on CBC and RDS and in more than 160 countries around the globe. Toronto last hosted the Grey Cup in 1992 when Calgary defeated Winnipeg 24-10.
