Wranglers agree to terms with goalie McKenna

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that they have agreed to terms with goalie Mike McKenna for the 2006-07 season.

McKenna was selected in the sixth round (#172 Overall) of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Nashville Predators. During his first professional season with the Wranglers Mike McKenna had a record of 19-2-1 with a .923 save percentage, and a 2.13 goals against average. McKenna also played seven games with Norfolk of the American Hockey League during the 05-06 season, going 4-2-1 in his time with the Admirals. The St. Louis, MO native spent four years at St. Lawrence University before joining the Wranglers last season. During his time at St. Lawrence, McKenna played in 95 games notching 32 wins.

The Las Vegas Wranglers open training camp for their fourth season in the ECHL on Friday, October 6th. The Wranglers will host the Phoenix Roadrunners on Thursday, October 12th at 7:05 pm, in their only preseason game at the Orleans Arena in 2006.

The Wranglers play all 36 home games at the Orleans Arena, located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue. The Wranglers host the Victoria Salmon Kings for the home opener on Friday, November 3rd at 7:05 pm.
