Royals' Schedule Undergoes Minor Modifications

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced five changes to the team's 2006-07 schedule following the release of the National Basketball Association schedule which affected the availability of Charlotte Bobcats Arena, home of the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL and the Bobcats of the NBA. Although the Royals do play in Charlotte Bobcats Arena for the first time in team history this season, that game (December 23) was not changed. Rather, the team had to move the two dates when Charlotte is scheduled to play at the Sovereign Center in Reading. In order to accommodate those changes, the Royals also had to move the date for one game against the Trenton Titans and one against the Johnstown Chiefs. The specific changes are set out below:
