TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Durham Bulls in a doubleheader from Durham Bulls Athletic Park (Game 1, 6:00 p.m.). The Bulls won the series opener Tuesday night, 3-2, prior to yesterday's rainout. Tonight in game one, the Bisons will turn to LHP Jeremy Sowers, who will be making his first start since being named Topps-IL Player-of-the-Month for May (4-0, 0.88ERA, 6G). In game two, the Herd will activate RHP Ronald "Bear" Bay from Double-A Akron. Bay pitched a nine-inning, complete-game, two-hit shutout against Connecticut last Friday (2BB, 4K). Durham will counter with RHP Jason Hammel (3-4, 3.90) in game one and RHP Brian Stokes (3-3, 3.51) in game two.

-Acquired 3/29/05 in trade with Chicago Cubs for LHP Cliff Bartosh.

MEET THE BEAR: Ronald "Bear" Bay will be making his Triple-A debut for the Bisons tonight. Last season, he finished fourth in the Indians Player Development System with 125 strikeouts. In 2004, he led the Midwest League in innings pitched (168.1) and starts (28) while playing for Single-A Lansing. He went 11-9 that season, and his 3.10ERA was 8th lowest in the league.

HOT BAT: Joe Inglett has a six-game hit streak during which he is hitting an even .500 (12-24). Inglett has also hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games, averaging.358 (19-53) with three doubles, four RBI, four walks and five runs scored.

RBI MACHINE: Andy Marte has now driven in at least one run in each of his last four games (6RBI). Marte has also hit in five straight games, averaging .333 (6-18) with a double, three home runs, 6RBI, three walks and six runs scored.

BACK IN THE FOLD: Lou Merloni fit right back into the Bisons starting lineup on Tuesday. In his first game since being optioned by Cleveland on Monday, Merloni walked, doubled and scored a run. He is now hitting .317 this year with the Herd.

ROSTER MOVES: Jason Davis was added to the Bisons roster yesterday. Davis was optioned from Cleveland after going 2-1 with a 5.04ERA in 21 games to start the season (30.1IP, 38H, 20R, 17ER, 7BB, 21K). Between games tonight, the Bisons will have another roster move to activate Ronald "Bear" Bay for his start in Game 2.
