Peoria Rivermen News Release

Peoria, IL - Director of Community Relations Angie Sammons of the Peoria Rivermen, the proud primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, today announced the Peoria squad's final two community appearances for the 2005 calendar year.

Both of the team's two remaining community appearances this year will occur on Wednesday, December 14. Between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. that afternoon, three Rivermen players will appear at the Arby's restaurant on Allen Road, near the Super Wal-Mart. They will be there to meet and mingle with fans and to sign autographs. Also while the players are there, Rivermen fans will be able to purchase two "Arby Q" sandwiches for only $4.00.

From 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, three other members of the Rivermen will be on hand at Steger's Furniture in Peoria.
