Beech, Finley Recalled

Milwaukee, WI- Nashville Predators Executive Vice President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forward Kris Beech and goaltender Brian Finley from the Milwaukee Admirals. In addition, the Admirals have recalled goaltender Michel Robinson from Rockford of the United Hockey League

Beech, 24 (2/5/81), leads Milwaukee in scoring with 22 points (9g-13a) in 22 games. The 6-2, 208-pound center was acquired by Nashville from Pittsburgh for a conditional Entry Draft selection on September 9, 2005.

The former first-round pick (seventh overall in 1999) posted 10 goals and 17 assists (10g-17a-27pts) in 99 NHL games with Washington and Pittsburgh from 2000-2004.

Finley, 24 (7/3/81), was recently named the Koho/AHL Goaltender of the Month for November 2005 after going 5-0-0 with three shutouts, a 1.16 goals-against average and a .962 save percentage in six appearances. For the season, the 6-3, 201-pound Sault Ste. Marie native has notched a 6-1-0 record in nine games, ranks third in the AHL with a 1.99 GAA and ranks fourth in the league with a .929 save percentage. He was originally Nashville's first-round pick, sixth overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

Robinson is 5-5 with a 2.83 goals against average and a .909 save percentage for the IceHogs. The Montreal, PQ native played one game for the Admirals last season, winning a 4-3 decision over St. John's on February 1.

The Admirals play twice this weekend, with the first game on Friday night at 7:00 at the Bradley Center versus the Grand Rapids Griffins before traveling to Peoria for a 7:00 pm tilt with the Rivermen on Saturday night.
