Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Re-Assign Cunning to WHL

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that left wing Cam Cunning has been re-assigned to the Red Deer Rebels of the Western (Junior) Hockey League.

Cunning played in 18 games for the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, earning three assists and 13 penalty minutes. It was his first professional action. Cunning split time last season with Kamloops and Vancouver. The native of Powell River, British Columbia combined for 17 goals and 15 assists in 69 games.

The Ak-Sar-Ben Knights return to action this weekend with two games against the San Antonio Rampage. Saturday's game starts at 7:00 p.m. The game will also be broadcast on Cox Cable Channel 2. Sunday's game begins at 5:00 p.m.

Beginning Saturday, all tickets for children 12 and under and those students with a junior high, senior high or college ID are just $10 in any section of the Omaha Civic Auditorium.

Tickets for all of the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights' regular season home games are on sale now at the Civic box office weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 422-1212 and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are also available on-line at Ticketmaster.com. Group tickets can be purchased directly through the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights ticket department. Please call 344-4625 to order.
