Canadiens recall Murray

Montreal Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced today that the team has recalled forward Garth Murray from the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Murray, 23, has played in all 25 games for the Bulldogs this season, recording two points (one goal, one assist) and 46 penalty minutes. The native of Regina, Saskatchewan, has played in 20 career NHL games, all with the New York Rangers during the 2003-04 season, posting one goal and 24 penalty minutes.

The Bulldogs travel to Toronto tonight, Saturday, December 3, as they complete a home-and-home series with the Toronto Maple Leafs AHL Affiliate, the Toronto Marlies. Game time is 7:00 p.m. Tonight's game can be seen live on Leafs TV.

The Bulldogs next home game will take place on Friday, December 9, when they face the Syracuse Crunch at Copps Coliseum. Game time is 7:30 p.m. This game can be seen live on Hamilton's Cable 14.

Fans can listen to every Hamilton Bulldogs game this season on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, Hamilton's 820 CHAM "The Legend". Ellery Award winning broadcaster Derek Wills will provide the play-by-play call of all 80 regular season games with Al Craig providing the colour commentary for home games and select road games.
