Phoenix s Ouellet Fined, Suspended, RoadRunners Coach, Organization Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended and fined Phoenix left wing Michel Ouellet for his actions in ECHL Game #79 vs. Idaho on November 5. The league has also fined Phoenix coach Ron Filion and the RoadRunners organization.
"Leaving the bench for the purpose of starting an altercation while an altercation is in progress will not be tolerated in the ECHL," said ECHL Vice President of Hockey Operations Rod Pasma.
Ouellet is suspended five games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.
Ouellet will miss Phoenix's games vs. Long Beach (Nov. 11), at San Diego (Nov. 13), at Utah (Nov. 18), at Utah (Nov. 19) and vs. Victoria (Nov. 21).
