October 24, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Utah Grizzlies News Release
Through the first 4 periods of the season, things were not looking so good for the Utah Grizzlies. Following a 4-2 loss at home to Phoenix on Friday night, Utah quickly fell behind 2-0 Saturday evening at America West Arena. But since the 17:25 mark of Saturday's first frame, the Grizzlies have erupted offensively. A goal set up by Utah's third line of Travis Rycroft, Brad Herauf and Kris Kasper, got the Grizzlies rolling for the first of five unanswered scores in a 5-4 win over the RoadRunners, evening their record at 1-1. Sunday Utah trailed 2-1, before erupting for 4 goals on Phoenix, jumping to a 6-2 lead, and eventually holding on 7-3, finishing the three game in three night set with the RoadRunners, taking 2 of 3 in the season opening series.
