Suns announce front office changes

The Hagerstown Suns are excited to announce new promotions and additions to the Suns front office staff.

Joel Pagliaro has been named Director of Promotions & Special Events. A native of Beacon, NY, Pagliaro attended the State University of New York College at Brockport where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Communications. Pagliaro was an intern with the Suns during the 2005 25th Anniversary season. Pagliaro will be responsible for all during-game promotions, bringing more non-baseball events to Municipal Stadium and participating in the Suns off-season sales efforts.

Jason Bucur is planning to continue the Suns trend of increasing attendance each year at Municipal Stadium. Bucur was recently promoted to Director of Ticket Sales. The Suns have experienced a 52% increase in attendance over the past two seasons. The Bowling Green State University, Ohio, graduate served as the Suns Manager of Ticket Sales in 2005. He will be leading the Suns season ticket and mini-plan sales efforts, directing the Suns ticket office and participating in group and picnic sales.

During the past three seasons, C.J. Johnson has helped to increase the level of sponsorship value for the Suns' business partners and has played a significant role in increasing the fan's entertainment experience inside Municipal Stadium. For his efforts, Johnson has been promoted to Senior Director of Marketing for the 2006 season.

Dave Fera and David Neuschafer have been added as Suns interns for this Fall.

The Hagerstown Suns are the Single A Affiliate of the New York Mets and will begin the 2006 season on April 6th at the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
