Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno Falcons president Greg Schuh has accepted a position as vice president of business operations for Henley Sports USA, which owns and operates the ECHL's Pensacola Ice Pilots. Falcons owner Charles Davenport will oversee the organization's business operations effective immediately. Schuh's departure does not affect the team's hockey operations department, which is still headed by head coach and general manager Matt Thomas.

"While I am certainly disappointed to be losing Greg, I think his departure is indicative of the high standards we have set in Fresno in so much as our employees are sought after by other organizations," said Davenport. "I've already begun the process of finding the ideal candidate to replace Greg, and the rest of our staff is on track and well into preparations for our home opening games next weekend."

The Falcons open the 2005-06 regular season on Oct. 21 and 22 at Save Mart Center against the Victoria Salmon Kings and Stockton Thunder, respectively. Both games begin at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and Save Mart Center's box office. Prices range from $8 - $23. For complete ticket information and an arena map of Save Mart Center, visit www.fresnofalcons.com/singletickets.html, or contact the Falcons front office directly at (559) 485-PUCK (7825).
