"I just wanted to tell you and the entire staff, one more time, how much I love the stadium seat and the surprise you and the staff did for me. I will really miss the Birds and all the home games after I move. But I do promise that I will come back for at least 1 game next season." Sharon Wooten, a loyal fan since 1996 and Season Ticket Holder since '04 who recently moved to Florida wrote in an email to our General Manager, Stephen C. Yaros shortly after the last game when Your Shorebirds Staff surprised her with a gift (a seat from the stadium) and the first pitch of the game. "Keep up the good work next year. Your staff has made a great impact on the Birds in the last 2 years...I know everyone is really glad you all are there and hope everyone stays for a long time to come. I shall always be a fan. GO BIRDS!!!" Wooten added.

Why?! Because we're getting you ready for cold-season...it's Flu Shot Time! That's right Peninsula Regional Medical Centers' extremely popular 'Drive-Thru' Flu Clinic is returning on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2005. This years' event is moving to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Vaccinations will be administered to individuals 13 years of age or older. The Drive-Thru Flu Clinic will be conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. each day. A physicians' order is not necessary. A donation of $5.00 per vaccination (cash only please) is requested. Your Delmarva Shorebirds are NOW Accepting Resumes and Applications for 2006 Employment! Your âBirds 10th Anniversary Season Has Come To End and now it's time to start planning for the 2006 season! Your hometown team is ready to top the 10th season and bring even more excitement to the shore with an outstanding 11th Season! Well, this can only be done with the right people that have the passion and energy to make great things happen. Do you want to join the most exciting Front Office in Minor League Baseball? You Shorebirds are seeking the following positions: Sales Positions, Seasonal Staff (Ticket Takers, Ushers, etc...) Club House Managers, Bat Boys and Interns for both the Fall & Spring Semesters. Another Wonderful Relay For Life Event...Raised $300,000+!!!
Relay For Life went really well, it was a fun-filled evening that celebrated the survivors, raised funds for research and programs of the American Cancer Society, and most importantly it brought our community together for one cause. Your Delmarva Shorebirds opened up Perdue Stadium to host the Wicomico County "Relay for Life" / Walk for Cancer. During the event, Your Shorebirds and each Relay Team, had plenty of entertaining activities to enjoy. Your Shorebirds want Thank everyone that partcipated and supported Wicomico County's incredible Community Builder. Collectively on behalf of Wicomico County, everyone involved in this year's event raised $300,015 and is still growing! Also Your Shorebirds "Realy Fun Zone" that was located on the 2nd level concourse, next to the carousel...rasied over $4,200. Your Delmarva Shorebirds thank you for supporting this year's "Relay For Life." We'll see you next year!
