Royals Announce Training Camp Schedule

(Reading, PA) - The Reading Royals 5th Anniversary Season since relocating from Columbus, Ohio in August of 2000 officially begins on Sunday, October 9 when players report for training camp. Players, coaches and support staff will report for team headshots, equipment issuance and physicals from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. New Royals bench boss Karl Taylor will orchestrate his first training camp in Reading since joining the Royals organization in August of this year.
All practice sessions will take place at the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Center. Beginning on Wednesday, October 12 all on-ice practice sessions will be open to the public. The Body Zone is located at 3103 Papermill Road just off Route 222 in Wyomissing. Any questions, please call the Body Zone at 610-376-2100.

The Royals will begin the 2005-06 season with a pair of preseason games with the defending Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titans. On Saturday, October 15 the two clubs will meet in Monmouth, New Jersey, then battle again two days later on Monday, October 17 in the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex.
The Royals 5th Anniversary Season officially begins at home in the Sovereign Center on Saturday, October 29 against the Titans. The Royals will raise the North Division regular season championship banner prior to the drop of the puck.
