(Calgary) - Today, the Calgary Stampeder Football Club announced the re-signing of Kicker Sandro DeAngelis and Offensive Lineman Jeff Pilon.

DeAngelis has been on a tremendous hot streak since entering his first season both in the CFL and with the Stampeders. He completed 6 of 6 field goals and 2 of 2 converts in pre-season and carried this streak into the regular season completing 8 of 8 field goals and 4 of 4 converts. Pilon is playing in his sixth season as a Stampeder and continues to be a very solid offensive lineman.

As per Club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

"Both of these players have become valuable assets in their own way," stated Senior VP of Football Operations/Head Coach Tom Higgins. "We are extremely excited to re-sign both of these talented athletes to multi-year contracts."

"The strength of Sandro's leg was never a question," said General Manager Jim Barker. "Through the first two pre-season and three regular season games he has proved that he can handle pressure. It is a comfort knowing that Sandro will be our kicker for the next few years."

"In six seasons Jeff has established himself as one of the top offensive lineman in the CFL," stated General Manager Jim Barker. "The strength of any team starts with the offensive line, and securing Jeff's services long term is critical in building the foundation for future success.
