FC Dallas Single-Match Tickets To Go On-Sale Friday, July 8

Dallas, Tex. - FC Dallas single-match tickets for the team's full remaining home schedule at the new Pizza Hut Park will go on sale at 10:00 AM this Friday, July 8. Fans can purchase tickets by calling 1-888-FCDGOAL (323-4625), by logging on to fcdallas.net, or they can purchase tickets at all Ticketmaster outlets (214-373-8000) or in person at the FC Dallas office located at 14800 Quorum Drive, Suite 300, Dallas.

FC Dallas will open the spectacular new Pizza Hut Park on Saturday, August 6 vs. the NY/NJ MetroStars at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $10 to $40 with special prices for youth ages 12 and under as well as discounts and other benefits for groups of 20 or more.

Season ticket packages for both the 12* and 6-game packages remain on sale, starting as low as $60.

Pizza Hut Park to Limit Capacity for Opening Match

Hunt Sports Group Chairman Lamar Hunt announced today the Charter Member MLS Club will limit capacity for the August 6 game to 12,500 which represents approximately 60% of the permanent rated capacity of the stadium. In making the announcement Hunt pointed out that the 12-game Frisco portion of the schedule now has a season sale of 4,417 and that the advance sale for the inaugural match on August 6 is approaching 11,000 - all prior to the opening of single match sales for all remaining games on July 8.

Hunt, who has spearheaded the building of America's finest soccer specific complex said, "We are one month before the first match and 99% of the seat installation is complete. In addition we have been assured that the restrooms and concession stands will be at 80% of capacity on August 6."

He added that, "The one troublesome area is the completion of some of the stadium parking lots, and for that reason we have made the decision to limit capacity for the August 6 game to approximately 12,500. It is important to note that we will have parking that matches our stadium capacity".

FC Dallas will be holding approximately 500 season ticket locations for sale in the next 30 days, and this in turn means we still have approximately 1,500 seats available for the Stadium Dedication game on August 6. Any unsold season ticket locations will be released for public sale the week of August 1. All season ticket holders will receive a first priority for tickets to MLS Cup - 2005, the MLS Championship Match, to be played at Pizza Hut Park on Sunday, November 13.

Sales for all FC Dallas home matches will start at 10 AM on Friday, July 8. Those seats are priced at $10, $16, $21, $23, $25 and $40.

Hunt concluded, "This stadium has been a long time coming and we have a first place team of which the community can be very proud. We are determined that our opening and the subsequent early weeks at Pizza Hut Park will be a positive experience for our fans and we feel this limiting of capacity is in the best interest of a quality experience for all involved.

FC Dallas, a charter member club of Major League Soccer, will begin play in the new 21,193 seat soccer stadium on August 6, 2005. The 117-acre facility will be located at the intersection of Main Street and Dallas North Tollway in Frisco. Pizza Hut Park will accommodate Major League Soccer matches, major concerts, international soccer matches and High School football. Adjacent to the stadium will be 17 regulation-sized, tournament-grade soccer fields which will be utilized on a year-round basis. Join us as we celebrate Major League Soccer's 10th season.
